Woods Wander Outing

The girls enjoyed the outing at Umstead State Park on November 4, 2012.  There were several troops that also participated that day.  We were first partnered with another troop to clean out the cabins as part of their service project.

The girls having fun, the cabins we helped clean, and the wonderful view.

After cleaning the cabins, all the troops joined together around the camp fire for snacks.  We ended the day with an informative lesson about the birds and insects that we see in the woods.  The girls earned a Woods Wander badge for participating.

Circle of friends, songs, and departure.
